At two years old children begin to enjoy playing "pretend." This is the time to introduce dress-up clothing, dolls that can be dressed and undressed, and kitchen sets that they can continue to play with during their preschool years.

Miniature dolls and dollhouses are not recommended at this age, because their accessories are too small and can be a choking hazard.
