I can’t tell you enough how much my 3-year old daughter loves Cucu’s Playhouse. What you do online in 30 minutes is amazing. We’re traveling this week and her pure excitement at learning Cucu’s Playhouse could come on our vacation was ADORABLE.
Thank you. Cucu’s Playhouse has brought so much to our family, particularly during the pandemic. We feel so fortunate we get to experience it all the way in NJ :)
Every day first thing when
she wakes up she says: "Mami, tenemos Cucu hoy? o manana?"
Is my child to young to learn a second language?
The earlier the better!
Early childhood is the best possible time to learn a Second Language. Ideally, you will want to start exposing them to the sounds of the target language as babies. At this stage, their brain has the unique ability to distinguish between the sounds of different languages and to easily learn any language that they’re exposed to. They are "wired" for language acquisition.
By 11 months old, babies' brains become tuned to the languages they are hearing the most. However, it will still be much easier for toddlers to learn a second language than it will be for older children or adults.
Language learning is time-sensitive, human brain is never better at learning a second language, than when we are 0 to 3 years old.
